Both seasoned Superior Court judges and savvy members of the trial bar will provide practical advice on a wide range of common and complex issues that often arise over the course of criminal jury trials.

This program is designed to discuss advanced jury issues of interest to both experienced trial lawyers as well as those on
their way to be.

A sample of issues to be discussed are:

• Pre-trial motions, voir dire requests, jury questionnaires and unusual motions-in-limine, etc.
• Methods of jury empanelment, for cause and peremptory challenges, etc.
• Proper and improper opening statement and closing arguments, etc.
• Curative instructions, and maintaining juror impartiality in the digital age, etc.
• New approaches to instructing the jury, etc.
• Post-verdict communications with jurors
• And much more…
